I think a bit more of brainstorming is going to be needed in the future for this call. Because the more I think about it, the more something doesn't quite sit right with me... but I can't put my finger on it.

I agree with Rick, while it is a nice idea you should do what you want to do. Personally, I would like to see and read more of your comic since you spent so much and so long defining, fleshing, and breathing life into your universe, however I feel that you should do what you want and wish to. You can always change the focus of the idea here and back to how it was if you don't feel that it is right.
