#IHarmU Vol. 2! (Patreon)

I know that some of you #IHarmU pledgers are wondering if/when it will be time for your melody to be harmonised – don't be afraid! I have more than 60 melodies still to go, and I will do every single one – in the order in which they were received – so I'll be busy for a while! As you know, I'll be on tour in the US with Ben for the next month or so, and when I get home in mid-October, I'll be getting down to some more for Vol. 3. There are some absolute corkers still to come!! Stay tuned :-)
I have just returned from the most incredible few days in Tokyo, playing four shows at the Blue Note. It was so wonderful to see so many Patrons there - some of them wearing JC T-Shirts! Totally inspiring. We had such a blast! A massive highlight was inviting Herbie Hancock out of the audience to play the encore with me on the second show, which was a hugely special moment! I also got the chance to listen to Pat Metheny and Christian McBride play a beautiful duo set, and talk with Pat about my own solo-show developments and the instrument-building and designing process he went through for his Orchestrion project a few years ago, which ties into some of the crazier things I am currently designing and planning with Ben at MIT... There are some unimaginably exciting things in the works. More on all this soon. I've attached a couple of photos from Tokyo for your delectation!
I'll be dropping some unpacked album grooves and some new things in the Groove Bank over the next few days – stay tuned, my Groove Bank Patrons!
One last thing – everybody who has pledged for physical CDs and T-shirts, and who has given their address, should now be united with all their things. If you have pledged, and have missing items, please please let me know – and I'll jump on it!
