Dear lovely people, it's been a while since I updated y'all on what's been happening around here, so I thought I'd write a quick note to let you know some things that are afoot and have been going on over the past couple of months.

First – WE DID IT! The solo show performance creature is alive and fully active. We successfully performed twice in July – first on home turf at Ronnie Scott's in London, and second in Montreux, before Herbie & Chick (attached is a photo taken right afterwards). It was completely awesome! I had such a blast. Below is a link to some photos from Montreux, and a couple of reviews of the Ronnie's show.

The best news is that YOU CAN COME SEE IT! I'm playing a full-length solo set at The Barbican, as part of the London Jazz Festival, on November 20th. I'm announcing it officially tomorrow, but I wanted to tell you about it 24 hours in advance so that you're the first to know. Ticket's might disappear quite fast once the word gets out, so if I were you I'd grab them ASAP :-) Here's where to go ➙

I'm home now for a few weeks, spending days outdoors and nights in the music room building my album, which I am more excited about than I've ever been about anything. I'm also finishing up the filming for a brand new video for you, which is going to be AWESOME. And I'm working on a collaboration with Take 6, which is mega exciting. I'll be posting a couple of other things I've been up to over the next few days, so stay tuned for that!

Love J
