Hello ye Patrons! Sorry for not being in touch for a while. I write to you from Cologne, Germany, where I'm playing some music with the WDR Big Band this week – and just before I came here I was back and forth between here and the US, finalising many exciting things including the solo show! We've finally finished sourcing and assembling all the gear, and we put it all together for the first time ever and got it going in the Media Lab at MIT in Boston a few weeks ago. It's going to take some work to get it feeling and sounding tight – but I've set myself a deadline by booking myself in at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London on July 1st. I'll be running it for the very first time in public, presented in person by Quincy himself. I would love as many of you to be there as possible, since you are all helping to make this happen! I'd love to buy any of you a drink. The tickets are selling abnormally fast, so get in soon if you can: Ronnie's SOLO ☛ https://goo.gl/WQBXMG I'll be back later that night with my trio, playing some funky music (fast and slow) and jamming out from 11.45-3.00am. That should be IMMENSE fun: Ronnie's TRIO ☛ https://goo.gl/7jIWk0 I'm also back at Pizza Express Jazz Club again, playing two shows in about a week's time, which won't be the solo show, but an opportunity to stretch out with some good music and make a royal amount of noise with some beautiful people and musicians. It is going to be special. If you book from Tuesday onwards, I can get all of you a discounted price for being Patrons. Simply phone +442074394949 and quote 'QUINCY', which I have been told will get the ticket price down a little. Would be lovely to say hello to some of you in person. Pizza May 31 ☛ http://goo.gl/aOAAkY Pizza June 1 ☛ http://goo.gl/kORzCL I'm hoping to get back into the groove bank sometime very soon... haven't been able to add to it for a while due to the crazy last couple of months. I'm working on a new video with GoPro, which I am SO, SO, SO excited about – we're hoping to get it up by July. I'll keep you posted and have new sounds for you soon! Love J
