My dear Patrons!

Apologies for not checking in for a while. Since last we spoke, I've  been travelling and touring almost non-stop, and it's been mighty good fun! Here's some highlights from the last couple months:

• Played a bunch of shows! Thank you Amsterdam, Germany, NYC, GroundUP Fest, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Okeechobee Fest, SXSW, Réunion Island, Portland, Seattle!

• I gave a TED talk in Vancouver, last week! It will be released in June, I believe.

• Performed at Coachella with Hans Zimmer and Pharrell!

• Performed with the man-man show on the Harry Connick Jr. Show, which was broadcast on TV a couple of weeks ago! Soon to be on YouTube.

• Performed my (adapted) arrangement of You & I on the Tavis Smiley show, with some heroes of mine, Take 6! https://youtu.be/cAoqM6YICMM

• The film for which I helped to record the music with Hans Zimmer,  "Boss Baby", has been released in cinemas worldwide! I added some vocal colours throughout – they're not immediately noticeable, but you may hear them if you lean in close enough.

• I did a spontaneous music theory interview with June Lee, who's been transcribing my arrangements for a couple of years now. It's been making the rounds! https://youtu.be/DnBr070vcNE

Lots of people have been asking for more content like this, and on this subject, I thought I'd ask you guys a question (both musicians and non-musicians). What content would you enjoy from me, along these lines? Would you like short, 5-minute videos, explaining different parts of the creative process, or rather a full-length documentary in my room, talking over each song's process step-by-step (a bit like the In My Room Patreon Hangout we hosted form MIT with Ben a few months back)? Or, more interviews with people like June, maybe in podcast-format? Alternatively, I could just host some Q+A sessions. These are just a few ideas, but I'd love to find a way to share some of the more detailed parts of my creative process for those who are interested. Any thoughts, guys?

• #IHarmU Volume 3 is out here! Thank you so much to all you wonderful Patrons who sent melodies in. Still more than 60 more to do : )

• Last, but by absolutely no means least, I've been making some detailed plans for the next album (hopefully released next year). I'm thinking bigger than I've ever thought before, and I am so, SO excited about it. Stay tuned as it evolves!

I'll be playing all around Europe, the USA and beyond in the next few months... stay tuned HERE –> http://www.jacobcollier.co.uk/home#videos in case you can come along to any!

Thank you so much for being here. You are the best.

Love JC
