I really hope that Gervic is actually till capable of fighting regardless of how long its been since he decided he wasn't going to fight.

I was actually just about to comment on that. I could be thinking very optimistically here but I could see Vlagg rehabilitating Gervic so he isn’t a mess when/if he goes home.

Strategically and logically speaking that would be his best course of action. If Vlagg was telling the truth about not wanting to ruin peace negotiations I would want to make sure that the person who could very well ruin those negotiations won’t spark war as soon as he get home. Especially if I didn’t want to just kill him and hide him. its kinda like you borrowed something precious from a friend and broke it and returned it broken and now you are enemies kinda deal
