Im actually glad you are showing this shows how cruel prisoners of war could be treated. Also I vaguely remember you mentioning something abuot a curse so Im curious if Gervic was just saying he was cursed or if he was actually cursed. I didnt really think that was possible to be honest but it would explain why for some reason he was broken after he sounds like he doesnt care how much he gets hurt since he won.

Must be one of those curses you cant talk about. Those are the worst. Out of curiosity are you a Ghibli fan? Not saying they are the only ones who pull a stunt like that but to my knowledge they are the movies that most people would recognize with 'unspeakable' curses.
