Before Nathan was even near her drawer, Alice's hand crashed to the ground in front of him and wrapped around him. A moment later, he was caught between her thumb and forefinger, as she looked down at him with her huge eyes.

Alice: How dare you disobey me? Do you even know what you have done?

Nathan: Alice please, you have to understand. I had no other choice. I can't be this small for the rest of my life. Lisa is my girlfriend and maybe she can help me!

Alice: Oh, don't give me that. You act like I seriously hurt you. Sooner or later I would have told Lisa about you anyway. I just wanted to have some fun!

Nathan: Fun? I came this close to getting crushed or killed in some other crazy way a few times, and the only girl who could have helped me, you attacked!

Alice: Pff...

Even though Alice saw herself in the right, Nathan could read her underlying insecurity in her face. She was afraid of how Lisa would react.
