So here's the second picture I turned into VR! If you haven't been in the "Mega" Tier, then this should be new for you ^^

I'm definitely much more satisfied with the outcome of this one compared to my first VR post! I could crank up the resolution much more so it should also be more crisp! Make sure to download the file!

Would love to hear again what you think of this one! :)

I've also prepared a version where you are MUCH smaller! That should give a you great sense of scale! Just need to let it render as it takes a lot of time ^^

In the future I will post more of those 360 VR pictures in the "Mega" Tier! I hope you'll enjoy them <3

Stay safe and healthy! :)

I immediately went to my headset but realized it's not charged... I can't wait! :D

Alright, Quest has charged, I tried it. It's genuinely awesome to look at this render with such a great perspective and feel so tiny. I really appreciate you rendering at a proper res for VR as I wasn't bothered by any traces of noise. If you feel like you can crank it up even higher, it'd be insane haha Can't wait to see what the "smaller" version will look. I felt like the cigarette butts were too big still compared to me so I welcome this new version. Finally, little question about depth of field. From your experiments so far, have you find a way to incorporate it to increase immersion in VR? I had tested stuff a long time ago but nothing revolutionary had come of it. The reason I'm asking is because I played Grounded recently and I have to admit their DoF in a setting similar to your really reinforced how small I felt :)

Thanks so much for all the great feedback! I'm happy that you are enjoying it so much ^^ And about the DOF. You are absolutely right. Usually DOF is a very important factor to make a picture look realistic. And I tried to use it for the VR pictures as well. But because a 360 image is much more "dynamic", DOF would also be dynamic. Reason for that is because you are actually looking around and choosing your own focal point. As Grounded does this only with it's "background" it kinda works but in DAZ it get's weird. If I wanted to set the focal point on the girls face, The cigarette buds would be slightly blurred even if I set up up the focal range to very high values! Looking at the cigarettes then would break the immersion, because why would the by blurred when you look directly at them :/ I will definitely experiment some more and see what's possible :)
