I definitely need to dig through my old code and see how I handled animation layer, but I did manage to have spreading animation from the spring animations. I also added sine wave loop animation option. It's really crude atm but it does technically work.

Definitely want to come back to this in the future because I feel like I'm at the point I can really start making something out of it, but I do look forward to working on something else for a little bit.
