Hey everyone. Before I begin programming the levels and such I am planning out the levels for the game, basing it on games like Little Nightmares and even Mario I am basically thinking of Themes that each level will present different obstacles based on the theme and the themes have a connective reason to the Environment, Story, and Lore.

Basically, the planned structure of the game is there is a set of Chambers (equivalent to worlds in Mario) and each Chamber contains a set of levels that while having some aspects that are different from each other all have a different theme.

Now as I was writing some current ideas, I think it might be good to ask my supporters for possible ideas and suggestions on possible themes that might be very fitting to the game. For what kind of theme levels I need I personally am gonna keep my supporters in the dark about it cause it would put a level of restraint on the idea and some real out-of-box suggestions might be perfectly fitting for the game and didn't cross my mind cause I am more restricted of knowing the game and all. So post a comment of whatever themes that come to your mind that you could imagine in the game, don't worry about any laws of physics or proper reasoning on why there might be a set of rooms inside a cursed otherworldly tomb.

Comment below on your suggestion and maybe even give some details of the theme if you could.

2023-04-30 17:17:22 I'm a Patreon. again, yay!~ Definitely add a whole level based on Quicksand, Tar, and Sinking with different types of quicksand. The theme could be used anywhere but I like the idea that Tiahna has an large indoor Oasis 5 Star Tropical Resort since she can't go to "Beaches" she heard from her victims, a rich & wet plantation area for the pyramid's food and oxygen supply, and a wet clay pit area for making pottery. Still, can't have Quicksand Themed Levels w/o Quicksand; Mind if I list some examples? Deep Sand/Mud/Clay: Not Quicksand but definitely deep enough to mire movement and prevent you from ducking fully. Dry Quicksand: The Classic Stuff. On stepping on the surface, Yui will slowly start to sink and sink with each hop. The faster you hop, the faster you'll sink. Get too deep, say navel deep, and you'll have to struggle like escaping the plant in order to wiggle enough room to sit and free your legs to keep hopping. Each failed attempt (or not doing anything) sinks you deeper until your breast deep. This isn't a game over, thankfully. Just keep struggling until you can move again. Add some timed puzzles that force you to go fast to solve but are repeatable should you fail and will be an interesting pacing game. Dry Shifting Quicksand: This sand is moving in a direction and will push you in that direction. You sink faster in this sand but it's not bottomless and should you get mired, it will always push you to a spot that resets your progress. Beware of funnel cone shaped pools as they will always take you to a floor below should you get sucked into them. What, you thought it was SM64? Wet Quicksand: Sand, Clay, or Mud soaked by water. It's much harder to escape from if your mired. Best hope no one is around to nab you while stuck. Wet Shifting Quicksand: There's no escaping in this stuff. Falling in with a wet splat and you'll be thrown to a reset point like the Dry Version. Can't get worse then that...right? Bottomless Quicksand: It's color and texture says all. The Sand, Mud, or Clay is mixed with Oil or some unknown substance; Designed by someone in the Pyramid to guard treasures or to dispose/break the unbreakable. It's has a more aggressive sinkrate and struggling almost feels useless (you can try just for animations tho). If you fall or step into it--get to shore quick. Sink to navel depth and it's Game Over. Sand Worm: Just when you thought it couldn't get worse--there's something moving in the sand! Move too much and it will find, squeeze, and vore you--Game Over. Shake it off while you still can. Mud Golems: Remember those Mud Men* from Castlevania? Well, picture them being nude mud hotties. They'll spawn in Clay or "Clean" Mud (No plant or grass growing on it) and will try to nab you to do....things....yes, things~~.... Tar Puddles (Trap) : Step on these and you'll get stuck. Move to struggle and break free. Tar Pools: You've shown these off already. Fall in and it's Game Over.

Perhaps some kind of "workshop" where all sorts of kinky machines (fucking machines, sybians, etc) are manufactured and tested? Whenever Yui is captured she's then used as a test subject for one them, or maybe she has to willingly put herself in some machines to progress?
