The Dark Backward - re:View

Jay and Josh dive into the weird, disgusting, depressing, off-putting world of The Dark Backward, an under-seen dark comedy from 1991 directed by Adam Rifkin and inexplicably starring Judd Nelson and Bill Paxon.

Really like, you could say love, the conclusion that the Judd Nelson guy in the movie starts to be funny and connects with the audience when he starts to be true to himself/talk about his own life in a genuine way.

Would love to see Jay talk about Crispin Glover’s fever dream of a movie “Rubin and Ed”. Or perhaps a Kipper Kids retrospective. Probably alone in that department, though.
