Hey everyone! We're going to have two Indiana Jones videos coming up: first a re:View of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom with Rich and Mike, followed shortly after with a Half in the Bag on Dial of Destiny, which comes out next week.

I know I'm redundant, I repeat myself and I say things over and over again, but I like that I can see some sort of spiritual message in ToD, you know, saving the children is more important than retrieving the stones, and bringing them back to the village also lets the waters flow again. Something like that.

I adore Temple of Doom and was disappointed to learn that Lucas and Spielberg consider it a bit of a failure. But frankly all three of the original trilogy are pretty damn great!

Could the Dial of Destiny replace the Wheel of the Worst? No, it cannot. The WotW is a legendary icon of film history. This "Dolphin of Density" or "Dice of Dissimulation" or whatever it's called -- sorry, I already forgot because it's such a bad idea -- is just another worthless piece of nostalgia-grasping garbage. And yet it was the mighty Wheel that once ended up in a dumpster! Existence seems capricious and meaningless when you see such horrors perpetrated by the universe.
