Best of the Worst: Hawk the Slayer with the X-Ray Eyes

It's thyme for another Best of the Girth! In this episode, the gang watches three movies that will hopefully not get flagged by youtube's nonsensical bot system. Hooray!

As a Brit you disappointed me by identifying an actor as “the dad from Charlie & The Chocolate Factory”. Literally every single English person* would immediately recognise Roy Kinnear, father of Rory Kinnear, who died while filming The Four Musketeers in the 80s. The horse he was riding slipped on cobbles. They kept it in. *over 48

This may be my favorite table lineup. Excellent episode, fellas. Had me giggling from beginning to end. It's always good to see Jack at the table. And now that Tim has his beard back, all feels right with the world. Rich, you were on fire the whole episode. Bravo for beating Jack to the daddy joke. :D

The Return of the Musketeers, actually. I was so curious after your comment, I went to look it up. Very sad story.

My bad on the title. I watched The Three Musketeers many times as a kid and it ended with D’Artagnan achieving his goal of joining the Musketeers, so for several years before the sequel came out it was what I expected it to be called and I guess the name stuck in my head.

Episodes w/o Mike have kids home while the parents are out vibes. Awesome video fellas, laughed a lot.

Thank you for mentioning Roy Kinnear! An absolute legend in the Beatles Help! movie, too.

Jack’s back. Jack’s Back.

Tim Kocher

Hawk the Slayer forever!!!!

Jeremy Ross

Kind of horrifying that Mike was wearing Tim's skin in this episode.

Silly String was around in the mid-70s for sure. They knew what it was--they used it anyway.

I wonder if David Carradine got turned on by the "Choke yourself" line from 'Full Metal Jacket'?

Rich's joke about David Carradine just sucked all the air out of the room. Can't believe he would make light of someone's death. He should hang his head in shame!

Did anyone notice "woman" from Hawk the Slayer was played by Patricia Quinn, Magenta from Rocky Horror Picture Show?

That was brilliant I popped both my hernias laughing so much.
