Best of the Worst: Plinketto #10

After a year-long hiatus, the Plinketto board is back, in Bog form! Thank you to our special guest for wallowing in our misery with us! SPOILERS FOR THIS EPISODE BELOW... BEFORE YOU LEAVE A COMMENT: Here’s a handy list of fun facts that we are aware of but didn’t specifically mention in the video: 1. The character in 100 Million BC that Mike refers to as "William H Macy" is played by Christopher Atkins, most well known for his role in Blue Lagoon but he also played a main character in previous Best of the Worst movie Beaks: The Movie. 2. The helicopter pilot in Stone Cold is played by Gregory Scott Cummins, the same actor from previous Best of the Worst movies Hack-O-Lantern and Action USA. He also plays Mac’s dad on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. 3. The role of Ice in Stone Cold is played by William Forsythe, who we just recently mentioned as being in Raising Arizona in our Darkman re:View. Yep, we know that’s him! 4. The elderly police chief in Bog is played by Aldo Ray, who previously appeared on Best of the Worst as the pizza shop owner in Hack-O-Lantern. Please visit www.pepperonipizzapiepeephole.com for more info. 5. In addition to his roles that we mention at the start of the video, Jack Quaid also stars in a Star Trek TV show. So as a reminder, these are all things we are aware of. You don't need to tell us. Good night and good luck!

I just now realized you had the nephew of Randy Quaid on your show...

As a horribly old and decrepit man, I can say that "Dracula" and "Vampire" were virtually synonyms back in the '70s. Vampire=Dracula and Dracula=Vampire. That was the way people thought back then. It wasn't until the '80s that new types of vampire movies started coming out that this changed from Dracula being THE vampire to Dracula being a vampire and just an old famous one of many. And young looking vampires took over.

Fun story…I was listening to an NFL draft preview show this week and they discussed the top 5 most disappointing picks in draft history. Brian Bosworth was one, though, sadly, Stone Cold was not mentioned in their analysis.

This was a great episode - Stone Cold is a gem! My sense of order was initially disturbed by Jack Quaid, but it actually worked well enough. Try not to be bogged down by the newcomer (ouch!)

Gotta admit, I was worried when New Jack joined the panel, but he was definitely on the Patton Oswalt/Gillian Bellinger side of the Celebrity Guest Spectrum, as opposed to the Macaulay Culkin/Max Landis side.

Does anyone know the name of last beer Mike has? I want to try some of that orange juice.

Bort Ward

Max Landis was the only BOTW I only watched once. IMHO Mac doesn't belong in that camp.

New Jack was utterly charming and fit in nicely after some initial awkwardness, happy to see him on the show and hope he comes back.

That ending with jack and jack was gold, great episode lads!

I’m not sure this was commented on, but they failed to mention that Gregory Scott Cummins of Action USA and Hack O Lantern (aka Mac’s Dad on IASIP) was the helicopter pilot in Stone Cold.
