Hey everyone. We're starting to work on a re:View of the 1988 remake of The Blob, since we arbitrarily said one would be coming in 2021 back in our The Mist re:View from several years ago. We also have a new commentary track for the 2000 flop Dungeons and Dragons coming soon! In addition to those, we'll most likely be shooting a new Best of the Worst towards the end of the month but for now, we're taking a little time off from that just to recharge a bit. 

And lastly, the second (and sorry, last) part of our Twin Peaks re:View will be posted this weekend. Like the first part, it's almost an hour long and covers a bit more of the show's broader themes and weird ass ending.

I'll never forget The Blob remake. My dad loved trash movies and horror (to a point). He rented that movie when it came out on video. I was like 6 or 7 at the time. I saw the phonebooth scene and then went and hid in my room. Thanks for the memories, Dad.

The 1988 Blob remake is often overlooked as the special effects are mostly great and Kevin Dillon's Hair could possibly deserve it's own discussion.

Boy do I love The Blob remake, I think I probably go back and watch it a couple times a year. The Body horror and special effects (for the most part) are on point.

Some of the best movies I watched this year were because of you guys, movies that would have never been on my radar. Also, all the terrible mainstream movies that were complete letdowns, were only made better by giving me the context to allow you guys to rip them apart. Thank you!

Oh god, I remember taping the "Blob" remake off TV in the mid 90s and basically inhaling that movie over the next few years... believe me, it doesn't hold up over the course of a few dozen watchings... especially, when you buy the DVD fifteen years later and go through the gory effect scenes frame by frame. It's held in almost the same esteem today, but "The Thing" or "The Fly" it most certainly is not...

They've mentioned it, in other tracks and content, that they only do a commentary when they really wanna talk about a certain film. They never just trash something (not even Rogue One), so if they don't have anything fun or interesting to talk about, they won't do it.
