Werner Herzog made a documentary, where you hear a nature activist, who visited bears for like 15 years in the summer, and his wife get mauled by one of the bears.

The animal cruelty of rich assholes... I hate to say it but everyone injured in Roar deserved it. Letting all those male lions maul one another by keeping them so close together, that tiger incident with the male lions against him, them causing the elephant to rage out.... I'm so mad this fucking movie exists. Mostly because douchebags who "care about lions" buy the preserve and then film this nonsense is not only irresponsible and idiotic on part of the humans involved, but but consider the animals. They could have killed each other with such a high stress environment, especially being wild and untrained. I hope those lions murder them both one day.

This is why I love RLM. Keeping the Roar episode in the can for weeks until the Lion King live action remake was out is just *mwah* (Italian chef kiss), perfect. Now I wish they used real lions for it and Scar and Simba legit fought to the death.

Holy shit! 'Winter Beast' was shot in New Hampshire! The Wild Goose Lodge was a real lodge in the Lake Sunapee Region and those street scenes were shot in Concord (our capital). I'm so embarrassed and simultaneously nostalgic for my home state...

Kind of getting tired of Mac showing up all the time. He's better as a very occasional guest. Didn't like Shawn at all. The two of them took over the whole discussion. Mike and Rich were pushed into the background. I would have much preferred Mike, Rich, Jay and Josh discussing these films. Mac and now Shawn disrupt the chemistry of RLM.

Funny, I felt the opposite about this episode: I thought that Mac actually seemed more comfortable and somehow gelled with everybody better than some of the previous BOTWs, and I liked Shawn a lot more than I expected to from his previous brief appearances.

I'm down the the Mac! This episode was fun, the Bunny Ears podcast with the gang was a blast (if anything, too short). Shawn held his own they're a natural BoTW fit like Freddie or Len or our fave Canucks. They very much get it, and it was a pleasure.

Please quit having Maculkin on the show. It was fine for a one-off but It's come to the point where I just turn the episode off the second I see him, and I always look forward to these shows. It's a bummer.

Hmmmm Guys? I like Maculkin enough , but Shawn is realllllly miscast. How about bringing back the Canadians or Len? Or even that creepy Jay dude (not sure about this one)

Please don't bring Shawn back. I really hated his "contributions" to the discussion. He doesn't really know what to say and then covers it up by saying something that he thinks makes him sound clever or funny. At least Macauly knows how to talk about the films.

Can I just say how awesome Josh was on this episode? He was on for maybe a total of 3 or 4 minutes but knew so many crazy details about what a clusterfuck Roar was on set. I knew about Roar but had never heard of the stuff Josh brought up ie elephant crushing Melanie Griffith's leg, etc.
