Jay is joined by Mack to discuss the 1979 street gang fantasy action movie The Warriors! Special thanks to Macaulay Culkin. Check out more of his stuff at https://bunnyears.com/ https://www.youtube.com/BunnyEarsTube

Damn it, Jay, I've worked for years to keep Informer out of my head.

Oh Macaulay Culkin makes perfect sense to talk about the movie, because he was Lost In New York as well.

Mention of 'The Ripper' and 'Carmen Sandiego' in one 'Re-View'!? Be still my beating heart!

Anonymous

Really enjoy listening to Culkin rap with Jay. Two cool dudes.

Didn't see this movie till I was almost 30. Love it though. And the actress who played the chief was Lynne Thigpen...heard that name every weekday for years when I watched that show.

Marvin Falz

One of these day I really need to watch everything Twin Peaks. Fire Walk With Me was fucking great. After watching FWWM I would have immediately started to watch the series, if it was offered on a streaming service like Netflix.

Repo Man!

Daniel Frank

Mr. Culkin plugged on his Twitter feed that the RLM gang will be on his podcast Wednesday.

Tony Scott was working on pre-production for a Warriors remake at the time of his death.

Thank you guys!!

I LOVE that Ma Cao Cao was on RLM again. He's so brilliant. Thank you for giving him a medium to express himself, and for giving us one to suck it up like a supplement in a swirly straw.

Oh I get it, cause the warriors are who Toronto will be facing after beating Milwaukee. Right?

Mike St Louis

Cmon Mack! Watch “Streets of Fire” stat and then come back with Jay for another Re-View!

Can't wait for the new BOTW with him.

Oh, I forgot to mention; I believe the Amazon Prime version of 'Warriors' I watched last year didn't have the comic book transitions. I don't remember ever seeing them.

At one point they were streaming all the episodes on both Hulu and Netflix but they might be on just Netflix at this point.

Marvin Falz

Awesome. Mr. Culkin is always so relaxed and fun, I expect the podcast episode with the RLM gang to be like that. Relaxed, fun, awesome.

This makes me wish you guys had recorded a 'The Warriors' commentary track. Let Mac ramble for 90 minutes.

Never enjoyed this movie and haven’t been Macaulay’s biggest fan, but I deeply appreciate his love of the abstract perspective on this film and I think he, too, might be growing on me. Like a Cleon. I may be spelling that wrong. Been a while since I saw Star Trek.

To hear Jay give some love to Streets of Fire and Twin Peaks The Return just warms my old bitter heart!

Needs more Rich Evans.
