Hey everyone,

Huge thank you to all my patrons!

So I'll make this a quick post as I'm eager to keep building systems.

Progress is still going well. The inventory system is taking shape. I'm working on linking items to an "action" bar so you can use them. This has proven to be more complex than I intended but I think I've found the last bugs (I hope). I might re-do/clean up this system when I add abilities because it's hard to tell at this stage if the system will run into problems.

I'll probably be tweaking this system for at least another week so I can support clothing items, stores (when I add them) ext.

Demo Plans

So my current plan for the next demo,

I've come up with a neat idea for testing the inventory and dialogue systems.

I'm currently thinking of a single larger interior environment for the next demo(rather than the interior/exterior). The idea is to put you into a kids/Land arcade play area crossed with a nursery.

The idea forming in my head is like the nursery in the previous demo but much bigger with like arcade games and ball pits ext. Allow the player to "play" (wave arms vaguely near) to earn tokens you can use to buy toys/food ext. Like with the previous demo have attendants that are there to look after you and security guards to spank you.

I don't 100 percent know how complex that will be to build.... But it seems sorta a fun way to test it so I'm gonna give it a shot.

I'll keep you updated with my plans as I get an idea on how complex it will all be.
For the next devlog I'm probably going to be thinking about how to create a fun "play with object" system that will allow something more -free form than just a pre-canned animation.
