Twitter account suspended (Patreon)

Hello all,

As many of you might already know now, my Twitter account @whispfornothing got suspended today. For over a year now, I've been battling against unjust copyright strikes/DMCA claims for drawing characters from the various Nintendo franchises (Pokemon, Animal Crossing, etc). These DMCA claims essentially remove my content from the platform and flag me for abusing copyright laws until proven innocent. For the most part, each and every time I contested these decisions, my tweets were retrieved, sometimes months later. After receiving a couple more of these claims these pasts weeks, following inaction from the Twitter Legal team after sending counter-notices, they finally took action and locked me out of my account.

So what's next ? Firstly, I created a new Twitter account, WFN_Art. This will be a replacement to my original Twitter account, and I will keep using it as my new hub of activity going forward, unless the OG account gets recovered. You will also find a thread there with more information on the subject. Secondly, there will be no more Nintendo art. At this stage, and after trying so hard for the past couple of months to keep it going, I now need to take action in order to protect myself. I will no longer draw Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Mario etc. in the future (except for the MilkyClover project). I am essentially censoring myself, but this will help me to prevent incidents like these from ever occurring again in the future.

Thank you all for the support as of late, you've all been amazing. And I truly apologize for the inconvenience. I'm doing my best to salvage the current situation as best I can.
