Her whole life her parents had expected her to achieve greatness. To that end, she never really struggled to be better than everybody else her age, but as she neared the end of her primary education she thinks she figured out why. Somewhere between her 17th and 18th birthday her body seemed to hit something of a second puberty, but rather than growing much taller, she grew significantly stronger. She figured out that her parents had not just expected greatness of her, but ensured that she would be truly exceptional though an illegal gene therapy program before she was born.
