December 2020 Plans (Patreon)

'ey all. A quick post of goings-on, since it's been a while again.
First of all, I'm going to be taking things easier for December, which will probably mean slightly less stuff getting done. Normally I aim for roughly six finished works (over all subscription tiers) per month, while December will probably be closer to four. Most likely one public work, one work for tiers $3+ and two for tiers $5+. That's the current plan anyways.
Obviously, one reason for this is the holidays. Seeing family, etc. And just wanting to have a week of full-on rest and binge gaming or watching tv shows.
Another is that I'm on some extra medication again. Long story short, had a PET scan last month to see if there's sarcoidosis in my heart as well. Results were inconclusive, so if there is sarcoidosis, it's barely there, but since my blood tests keep showing slightly elevated levels of troponin (heart related enzyme), just to be sure, the doctors want me to medicate for a month as if there is sarcoidosis there. That means even bigger doses of cortisone than before. I'm on day 10 now. Cortisone has had three side effects for me. Swelling in feet and ankles, mild soreness in ankles and wrists, and major problems with sleeping. However, I was also prescribed meds to help with sleeping, and they do help, but mornings are always a slow start. So my energy levels vary. Overall I'm feeling fine and positive though, so please don't worry.
I know my news posts have mostly been about health issues over the past year, but aside from the sarcoidosis symptoms in March, things haven't really gone worse, and the bottom line is that nothing serious has been found. Everything's just been additional tests and just-in-case meds. I do seriously hope I can drop the cortisone in the coming months though. It's the only un-fun thing in my life right now.
