Hello my precious supporters! I think it's about time for a quick post on what's up.

Firstly, I'm honestly feeling a little down right now, looking at my finances. A pile of bills (mostly compulsory insurances) happened to land on the same month, and I was quite a bit in the red for last month. Of course, that only happens every now and then, but still, it always manages to catch me off-guard. On the positive side, you guys have been rocking it with your support, and the pledge total actually increased by $51, and even the start of this month is looking good, at +$28 right now, thanks to several returning patrons and some new ones too. So... thank you! Hopefully next couple of months will be better.

Oh, and the exclusive content colored comic for tiers $5+ that I finished last month is on sale in my Gumroad store as well, so all of you supporters from lower tiers who missed out on it, you can buy the comic separately for $3.

Regarding art, what's the plan for this month? Well, it's probably going to be pretty mixed content-wise. My current goal is to avoid starting new serials or comics for the time being (despite having many delicious ideas). Having had multiple projects like that in the works over the past months has made me realize that it gets a bit too stressful and repetitive, so I'm going to try and focus a bit more on one-shots and other shorter projects for a change (though I will still continue the ongoing and unfinished ones). It's also the reason why I focused so heavily on finishing the comic last month, to clear my schedule for other stuff. I will also be doing more commissions where my schedule permits, but Patreon content will still remain priority.

Overall, last month favored the $5 tier heavily with all the exclusive colored comic pages, while this month I'm hoping to have rewards a bit more spread out, a little bit something for every tier.

Now then, time to start working on May goodies!

> it always manages to catch me off-guard This happened to me with my yearly car registration last year. I was expecting the same old $200/yr cost that I'd been paying for my old car, but since my new car is a lot more expensive, it was $630, instead! To combat being caught off-guard in the future, I set up an automatic monthly transfer of $55 from my main checking account into a separate savings account that's *just* for that payment. So I now automatically split the cost across each month of the year, meaning I don't get blind-sided every June. Maybe something like that would be helpful for you?
