Hello everyone! It's a new month, and this month I'm going to be a bit more aggressive with my planning. This article will cover new pledge tiers, art plans for this month, and a general outlook into near future.

GENERAL OUTLOOK

I posted an article earlier outlining the financial situation my lifestyle as a full-time artist has put me in. Simply put, this isn't sustainable for more than half a year at most with the way I'm going currently. I've done some calculations. Assuming I work 21 days a month (roughly 5/week), Patreon and Gumroad support combined covers about 12-13 days' income. So I can afford to put roughly 13 days into Patreon content. The rest of the time I need to spend doing commissions and anything else that gets me extra money. 13 days equals roughly 4 colored works and a bit of extra on the side, so it's within my original estimates for what the total support gets for everyone.

This month, I'm going to work on time management and improving the situation.

NEW PLEDGE TIERS

I've added a new pledge tier at $20. This tier simply offers all the exclusive content rewards from one earlier month. It's basically for supporters at tier $10, who have joined recently and might be interested in getting rewards from an earlier month they weren't supporters at yet. It's also for the generous people who might want to pledge a bit more than $10.

I've also upgraded one $70 tier slot to a $150 slot, transforming a sketch request into a colored work request. I let one of the $70 supporters get the dibs on that slot for their continued support.  I might add more of these slots, but I also have other plans regarding commissions, which may affect these tiers.

COMMISSION PLANS

I believe I mentioned in the earlier article that Patreon handles EU's VAT on European customers, so it's easier and slightly more profitable for me take payments via Patreon. I also mentioned opening a possible second Patreon for my HitmanN alias. I didn't do that yet, and now that I've done some thinking, I think instead I'm going to open a secondary account for commission work. Namely it'd be under the HitmanN alias, but I'd take all commission payments that way. I'm still mulling over the details, but the account will likely not be public information, since I don't want random people making random pledges over there, but I'll point potential clients in that direction.

ART PLANS

Now, onto this month's Patreon content plans. To maximize efficiency for the time being, I'm going to be focusing on coloring/finishing old stuff, instead of doodling new. You probably noticed that I already published the first pic of the month. There will be another one for the same series. Those are this month's high-res content. I will also very likely begin coloring the comic I've been posting previews of. 1-2 pages this month. These will likely be this month's colored exclusive content. Both the image series and the comic will remain my primary focus, so expect 1-2 additions to each, every month, until they're finished. And then there are the requests for tier $70 and $150, so a greytoned preview type thing and a colored work. 

That's all the time I can afford for Patreon content. Anything extra is commissions, which may or may not provide additional exclusive content.
