July 2019 News #2 (Patreon)

A quick news post on couple of things, primarily of interest to recently joined patrons and those who have missed content from past months.

New Patrons / Upfront Payment News

Several new patrons joined over the past few days, so I'm just making sure all of you are aware that my Patreon isn't set to accept upfront payments (yet), so your first pledge will be processed at the start of next month, and is for next month's content. Some lower tier content from current month may be accessible on my Discord server, however (Patreon has a help page on Discord related stuff, if you're new to Discord), so if you just joined for stuff like dialog variants, be sure to hop on to my Discord server. Discord is not mandatory to get rewards however, and content from months that you've paid for is sent as an archive to you, at the end of the month. Discord is, however, the place where some content, such as sketches, doodles and previews are primarily posted during the month. I highly recommend joining the Discord community for real-time updates. You can just create a random account and use Discord in a web browser.

If you missed on content from May or June due to not getting a pledge processed for that month, and wish to pay for that separately, see my Gumroad store (more info below).

As for Upfront payments, I'm planning to set it up at the start of next month, so future patrons can pay their first pledge immediately and won't miss on current month's content.

Gumroad News

Earlier I announced the opening of my Gumroad store page, where you can separately buy content from past months and years. Instead of offering only $10 archives of past months' content, I've decided to also offer $5 editions. Obviously, the $10 ('Deluxe') edition gets you content from pledge tier $10, and $5 ('Standard') edition gets you content from pledge tier $5. So if you're not looking for high-resolution versions of select few works, the $5 archive should suit your needs fine.

Also, I recently confirmed with accounting that Gumroad income is perfectly fine, and no additional VAT is required on that either. So now I'm more comfortable in putting more effort in Gumroad products and promotion. Expect more on this over the coming weeks.

Art News

This month will likely end up having less content altogether, compared to last month, but then again I set the bar pretty high during last month. Not to mention that many of this month's works contain multiple characters and have been more time consuming to compose and finish. It is unlikely I'll get the winner of last month's poll drawn this month, but I do have the image layout planned in my head, so I should get around to doing it eventually. 

For the time being, my goal for the rest of this month is to finish the second part to the series I recently posted in my galleries, and then I still have one $60 tier request to do for this month, so that'll come second. If I still have time left after that, I'll look into sharing some sketches and stuff I haven't gotten around to publishing yet. There's actually quite a few.
