I fuck with Jerome heavy, and I respect the type of timing he on. Technically nothing he said was incorrect. But he’s still moving kinda stupid rn. Her and Franklin set the fire but there’s no need for him to jump head first into it. This show is incredible at making it seem like everyone is making the correct choices for their situations and it still leading to drama. Usually drama happens cuz someone does something unbelievably stupid. But here I find myself rooting for literally everybody to somehow get what they want.

you have to remember cocaine is a stimulant at the end of the day, it makes you feel alert, awake, and brings you hyper focus. Ritalin for example(ADHD meds) are very similar to cocaine in their chemical structure. Ritalin has a formula C_14H_19NO_2 and cocaine is C_17H_21NO_4. 3 Carbon, 2 hydrogen, and 2 nitrous oxide difference. He's using it as a crutch. He's constantly sleep deprived, traumatized, paranoid and stressed and without the cocaine he would be very underperforming in his ridiculous job. Also no im not justifying cocaine nor am i saying that ritalin is cocaine either. The effects of the two is still very different. Ritalin qualifies as medication because of it's utility, where as cocaine is far more rarely used as medication(it's only used topically and it's declining)

I don’t think so at all. If they showed me a bunch of footage of dead nazis and their sad orphan children i wouldn’t start sympathizing out of nowhere They never tell you which side to root for, Just that one side was heavily outgunned, which was the reality of the situation. They go out of their way to demonize the American government for moving coke into black neighborhoods the entire show. All that scene really did was refocus teddy and convince him he was doing what he thought was right.
