A lot of the "Plot Holes" are largely in part due to Bone's rushed adaptations of the source material which most of the fanbase has read, so it doesn't really affect them much. And even still, the adaptation is consistently dog piled on by a large majority of fandom.

But as someone who gotten into the series via the anime before I read the manga and novels, none of the plot holes are significant enough to massively drag down enjoyment of the series There is still a good cast, impressive characterization and character dynamics. Outside of maybe a few small tiers, the cast of the antagonist is decently strong.

Wait I actually quite liked the anime for the good voice acting and animation. Granted I only started reading the manga after season 3 so maybe I'll start noticing the rushed nature. Then again even when I went to the manga I noticed they skipped a scene in the anime.

@A Pimp Named Doffy S1 and S2 /were/ great. There weren't many, if any, plot holes at all. It's only the back half of S3 that was messy but that's like 5 out of 36 episodes.
