I don't consider it a spoiler since Natsume Sensei name was dropped last season, heck, we even get to see him last season, he basically looks the same as he did last season in this one, even if they name drop him again this season, they prob wouldn't have remember it either

In one episode Ranpo and Yosano (the healer of the armed detective agency) was trapped in a book where they had to solve a mystery but they couldn't use their abilities. Even after he solved the mystery and they got out he was still in denial of him not being gifted. These two episodes definitely shed some light into his denial because he doesn't want to go back to seeing the world without color.

I was reading some threads on this episode and people were saying how Ranpo exhibited signs of autism because he can’t understand other people at all due to his condition. Made me like his character even more.
