Noragami and Dororo are good. To your eternity is one that just came out not long ago and it's really interesting if you guys want to try that one out. Osamu Dazai is an author and "No Longer Human" is one of his books, the cause of his death was suicide and I think he had multiple suicide attempts before his last and sadly successful suicide attempt, I'm not sure about the other characters but I guess authors were the inspiration for them based off what other comments have said.

Ok this is a super underrated anime the story might be average which isnt for me but the wordplay is crazy especially with some of the villains and their ideology...andd the most important part is the OP AND ED ... and how they usually end the show is epic they slap the ed at amazing moments this is one of my fav show really glad to see yall reacting to this... all the ed is in bungo is fireeee

All of these characters are named after or have thier powers named after famous writers. Osamu dazai wrote the most depressing autobiography i have ever read. Its called no longer human and its a descent into madness.

It's a comedy/romance anime where the student council president and vice president like each other. They are all kinda rich in this school and the person who confesses their love is seen as the less dominant one in the relationship. So, even though they both like each other because of their pride they won't confess and try to get the other person to do it instead. It's very funny, has great characters, and it also has some serious moments that really hit.
