You see the reason why I wanted to go for super habilities beyond human comprehension is because, in the early XXth Century, monsters from the golden horror cinema were considered on their time as super heroes, if we compare them with the treatment superheroes had during this decade.

And also because many people dress up as the mainstream comic houses characters, so it would fit perfectly!
