It was a very good episode. The puzzle with the metal melting and then creating another key wasn’t done right in the anime. They suppose to have tea to give enough time to the whole process to complete. The keyhole needs to heat enough to melt the metal and then the metal needs time to solidify in the mold 🤓. At 19:26 I am afraid that if Jinshi ask Maomao about this he could bring back some bad memories to her and probably damage their relationship. I still believe he is very shady. But as you said, probably they are just distracting us showing us something shiny with one hand while the reality is hidden in the other hand. We will see 🤔.
