What I understand is that they revealed that Mamao is 17 years old, and 17 years ago the previous emperor had a child at the same time that the current emperor (a prince at that time) had a child with Ah Duo. My theory is that Jinshi and Mamao were born at the same time and Mamao is a princess. Then Luomen took Mamao out of the palace, I don't know the reason. But probably to protect her?

They probably grew up knowing each other long before Ah Duo became his concubine. So, they're not genetically related at all. In Japanese, they said 'chi-kyodai.' 'Chi' here means breasts and 'kyodai' means siblings. They were breastfed by the same nanny.

Ok ok if we tied that in with the baby swap theories. Let say the previous emperor had Maomao but the previous emperor didn't like having a daughter instead of a son hence the swap and they took Maomao out of the palace for her own protection 😅 that seem way out there.
