By mistake I restarted episode 7 and the first scene. Her father seemed kind of old when she was young. It might be nothing but that got me wondering about her lineage and if it’s her real father. He also didn’t seem very concerned that she was absent for so long. Yep the little girl was trying to get to a home without anybody that could come fast enough to help. 😂 you got it right the first time and you are just confusing yourself afterward. It’s not to steal anything, it's just that she expect an old man and not being there in time to save the guy but ok to save the girl. The poison was tobacco so they had plenty.

Drinking the upper layer just a bit so she would be sick and not accused of murder. 👍 I think we are missing something but I’m not sure we will ever know since she goes back to the rear palace and moves on. And we have no idea what the annex. Maybe it will come back later because there is more mystery with her dad's comment on the last episode and everything else. They probably seed us with context for a future episode where her history will have more significance. 🤣Maomao with a gave him a night of pleasure 🤣 that was hilarious with Jinshi face afterward 🤣

After episode I believe it’s 24 episodes with no break. It’s a good show.I do agree with you that it’s great despite the episodic nature and the no a lot of progression. It look like there is a main team but we will deal with it only at the last episode. All the thing they sprinkle today we will not revisit them before much later. Nice. Take care. 😋
