Yes they want to kill Mechamaru but they have to fix him first to obey the pact, After that is all free game. I guess Mecamaru uses them to fix his body then he will reveal the plot to Gojo so that he will protect him. Itadori was on his king shit since high school, I swear he has no place in the jujutsu world. Also I firmly believe mechamaru never betrayed them as much as use mahito to get his body back, honestly that's a deal I would take in his situation, get fixed up and gamble on gojo.
