Perfect timing 👍 I'm just getting home from the expo.

This was a good episode. Im confused as to why gabimaru lost his memories. From what we saw from meis perspective, he looked damaged, but i don't remember if he took damage to his head or if it has something to do with his tao. Anyways, i can't believe all these shows have come to an end, time just flew by. This was a good first season, i enjoyed it.

This episode maybe blows up my theory that Gabimaru's village chief is the master of the island.

I watched the first episode of Ayaka: A Story of Bonds and Wounds. Very average first episode. It didn't peak my interest enough to watch to care about the next episode. However, I will give it one more chance to change my mind about it and watch another episode when it comes out.

I thought that was tomorrow? I was interested in that one but now i don't know.

Man this is so damn tragic, gabimaru used so much tao that he probably undid the illusion that was cast on him (my theory) either that or it set a new one where his wife never existed as a failsafe of some kind? Remember how sadistic the master was training them to subconsciously take their killers with them, maybe it's an extension of that? I really need his waifu to be real.

Kuto for the blind Asaemon to have figured out Tao and you have to strike Tao. I really like that Sagiri steps in to help. Way too often in other anime it’s just the one on one Fight. The hugging sharing power was cute. I think what the Tensen mean is he waited a 1000 year to see something so beautiful in Tao. Like perfect balance. He couldn't achieve because it’s never been I’m willing to die for him. The Shinobi has always portrayed herself as selfish and carefree. It’s great what she did for Senta for his final moment

Dany DLTV

This illusion fake just 🤯 I don’t know what to think. It would make it so tragic if the wife is not real. I kind of don’t want to believe it because that cut deep. And Gabimaru forgetting a large chunk of the past activities. Doesn’t help. You are moving on quickly from Gabimaru wife to Sagiri 😂 Understandable since we never really met her only in flashback. The titles on the YT is true this episode mess up with our head. The after credit scene is kind of odd. I guess they put a new Asaemon as an antagonist. The current Aseamon know that the Elixir of Life is not what it seems and sympathize with the criminal so they want everyone out. But the new one will have order. My guess is to not let anyone out without The Elixir.

After Episode If the wife is not real, that is so depressing. Because the whole season it was the thing that anchored everything, why Gabimaru went there and why he’s risking everything. The Shogun doesn’t seem very smart. So him being manipulated by the leader of Gabimaru’s clan makes more sense than they are in cahoot. It does make sense to use a wife as motivation but the question is the wife real or just implemented memories.

Dany DLTV

After thinking about it, I'm leaning toward the wife not real as much as I don’t want to. Gabimaru will be broken and Sagiri will save him that what I’m going with 😂 Right now the Asaemon and criminals just want to get out, I guess that what the after credit is all about they send someone else that doesn't have those experiences and will prevent them from getting out. Season 2 will be something else with all those twist and turn that this episode thrown at us. Ok Great discussion and reaction Take Care.😋

For me I went in with zero expectations. So the first episode had enough mystery to peak my interest. But I can see how it can turn out as a generic power user fighting monster kind of show. It all depends if the gave a goog story behind it and they didn't add show us enough in the first episode to make it a go out no-go.

So I watch some other first episode. Coming back to Ayaka. It seem that my interest diminishing after watching other stuff. So I'm not sure I want to come back to it unless it's really popular or you react to it I watch "I'm actually the strongest" First impression is: Yet an other Isekai. Little to no interest at this point from me. I watch Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout The Animation. The main girl is fun and interesting to follow to but the first episode was slow. A double episode premiere 48 minutes and nothing much happened. The main protagonist live in an island where nobody leave her family are farmer but she doesn't like farming and she want to go on an adventure. Since it's there first adventure they are pretty useless. But it seem that she had aptitude to become stronger.

Maybe if you have nothing to react to until next week for the Drama Club tier you could watch some other one off first episode of new anime just to see if it interesting. Most likely never coming back for episode 2 but you might find something interesting.

By the way I don't know if you know but Jobless episode 00 is out. I'm just starting to watch it and it seem like a reglular real episode,

Sebastian

Gabimaru is in jail because he was betrayed by his clan. Gabimaru did wanted to give up being a shinobi and only be with his wife. It's kind of backwards to trick gabimaru who is the strongest shinobi into wanted to quit to be with his wife. The tensen drink Tao to stay immortal, they could technically take some of the Tao and take it to the shogun. But we don't know the effects on normal people if they drink it, and how long the elixir would even last

Dany DLTV

I think the tensen said that if a normal people would drink the Elixir they would just turn into flower. If they bring the Elixir to the Shogun. The Shogun would not want anybody else to drink it and become immortal however how to test for poison and know if it's the real Elixir. The Shogun would turn into flower but then that woundn't help our prisoner since they would be hunt down as the one that poisoned the Shogun.
