Seeing stuff like this really makes my blood boil. Like Steve Rogers said "i don't like bullies" Some people just get a kick out of bullying others especially online. Good thing aqua was there to save her.

It's unfortunate that one bad comment will always trump a hundred good ones. The longer you're in the spotlight, the more popular and famous you become the more of those people and comments you will get, and those bad ones are the ones that stick with you the most.

Like I've said before, it's best to focus on the good and ignore the bad ones. This was a good but terrible episode, if that makes sense, and a great review. double thumbs up 👍👍

For some insight into this episode, it is sadly based on a real event that happened almost exactly 3 years ago. A japanese girl named Hana Kimura killed herself after receiving a lot of cyber bullying as a result of being on a reality show called Terrice House. She was a promising young wrestler as well. I don’t know much about reality shows but it does ring true how they portrait it. Loosely based on reality but people playing for the camera. Bad trait that make you human. I love that point of view. I guess a reality dating show is not a good fit for Akane. I think she could be great in something else. In her case she needs it more scripted. Make a good drama or something.

Yuki(I think that is her name) the main girl in the reality dating show. She is so sweet to hug Akane right away and say it’s OK. It’s a reality show so it’s somewhat of a competition in front of the camera. She does everything she can to get attention but she is sweet then the camera is off. It is awful how some people easily go into the hate wagon with distorted truth. Online comments can be nasty. I think the majority of people are nice but the nasty ones are having a field day with it and they are loud. I was No, no, no, no when she was on the edge about to jump. Especially with this show doesn’t have plot armor. Ok maybe it does but we have seen death before.

After episode She tries to please everyone but not pleasing herself. 👍 What is behind the business is people. That is so true. If you don’t take care of your own people. Your business will struggle. A lot of people probably won’t see the similarities that I do but some parts of this reminded me of the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard situation. It seemed like just about everyone online took a side. Either Johnny Depp was the villain or Amber Heard was. When the truth is none of us can really know for sure. After the defamation trial last year and seeing the evidence presented I tend to side more with Johnny but I don’t think he was blameless or that Amber was lying about everything. To this day people still are abusing Amber and Johnny online. Amber is getting the worst of it these days since the trial seemed to sway public opinion in Johnny’s favour. However there are still people online outraged that Johnny is getting movie roles and standing ovations at film festivals. They want him gone the same way many people want Amber gone. Maybe one of them really was the villain but none of us can know for sure and even so the hate perpetuates online. Even though I ended up siding more with Johnny I’ve never called for Amber to be cancelled or removed from her role in Aquaman because I don’t think I’m in a position to judge and I don’t think anyone else online is either.
