“The Doctor wanting to protect his patient” Wow I didn’t think that aqua is about protecting Ruby since he couldn't in his previous life. Might explain some of his behaviour, But I’m still annoyed by Aqua Behaviour sabotaging Ruby Idol's career.

True don’t bank everything on being an Idol but she is still young and has the support of her adoptive mother. So now is the time to go for it. All the other stuff can still be done afterward if the idol doesn’t turn up. For being an Idol it’s now or never. I hate people that squash dreams. I’ll concede that he has a point. Is not an easy career path. “Revenge is not going to make him feel better” So true. Instead of trying to make a life, He’s not living right now, only living for revenge and that is why he’s gloomy all the time. He’s unhappy with his life right now and will not be happier afterward. And since he hasn’t accomplished his goal. I bet he finds very little to be happy about. It seems to be a miserable way to live.

Maybe miracles don’t happen twice. Maybe she won’t be as successful as her mother but still she will live her dream. Maybe it won't be glamorous but still living her dream. I really hate what Aqua did about the fake refusal. This kind of ruin my enjoyment of the rest of the episode. Aqua is a great actor, fake smile and all with scouting. 😁 I’m proud of the mom. I'm pretty sure she came out with restarting the idol agency on her own and forcing the brother's hands. He was so against her becoming an Idol. “I never said I was against it”- Aqua No you said it multiple times that you were against Ruby becoming an Idol maybe not to her face but to everyone around her. Aqua I’m sure he’s a good actor but he’s so down on himself and negative all the time with his obsession. The director’s mom cleaning, Remind me of mine. 😁

Yep Aqua is obsessed with Ai. And the director is so right he’s not Ai he’s his own person and should start focusing on his life instead of Ai. The actrice we met before surprised me. From The first episode I thought she would want revenge also for ruining her shoot. And revenge seems to be the theme of the show but she seems to be genuinely nice. Maybe she’s acting but I hope she is nice. 😁

After Episode I really enjoy rewatching with you. Great reaction. At first I was 50/50 on this anime since Aqua pissed me off so much with his sabotage and I’m not that much into his revenge. But now I thoroughly enjoy the reaction and if it’s more about the entertainment industry I’m all for it Yes there is depth in the character. More in the supporting character like the adoptive mom and even the director. For now Aqua is too obsessed so he cut himself from a lot of parts of him and only defines himself through his obsession for Ai Killer.

It’s a hard business and can sometimes be downright depressing. But still as long as you are around good people it can bring so much joy. I hope Aqua is dragged into the performance art and it’s not a broody all the time looking for his father. It’s sad that Aqua thinks his happiness and everything else for that matter comes 2nd to his revenge. He should ask himself why tho. Ai accepted when she died she even reached kindly to the killer. Ruby has moved on and tried to pursue her dream. And if he thinks he’s doing it for himself. He only makes himself more miserable and if or when he has revenged he will not be happier. You are so right. He’s giving himself this mission that wasn’t intended for him. It's not on him. I cannot agree more. 🤩
