I’m thinking about making a new tier… maybe. (Patreon)

Hey guys! I am thinking about making an early access tier for you guys here on patreon! I’ve seen a lot of other reactors have this so I thought about asking you guys I’d you’d like to see something like that here as well.

The way it would work is I would put shows that have already finished airing in this tier and I would post to this tier a few days to a week before they’re posted on the reactor tier. The shows in this tier would be all the same shows as in the reactor tier and the drama club tier would be reserved for patreon exclusives. Or maybe I add this perk to the drama club tier?

These are just my first general thoughts on this. The details aren’t set in stone.

Idk. Seems weird to me. I thought being on Patreon gave early access anyway. I'm confused.

So patrons in the reactor tier will have to wait even longer for reactions already on patreon? Sounds rough.

No. I would probably just stock pile reactions once I start a new show and just start it in the early access tier before the reactor tier. It’s just an idea. A lot of other reactors do this so I thought maybe it would be cool to incorporate it into my own as well.

Ok I can see that it's not as simple. Just thinking out loud here. I can understand people's argument that right now they are used to having a reaction as soon as it appears so they would be upset they have less. One option is create a lower tier with delayed access to non seasonal shows like at least 1 week delay. Now the problem is with seasonal shows. If you put it without delay some people will switch to the lower tier making you lose revenue but you might get more patreon to compensate for the lower tier. Or you can delay a seasonal show but then most people would have watched it on YT when it came out. They get the full reaction delayed 1 week. But it's less appealing so it has to be price accordingly The other option is to just go ahead and put a higher tier with early access to non seasonal(ie older) shows. Only for shows we haven't started yet. But I can see how it will upset some If it's a tier between the reactor and the drama club. Now I'm 50/50 on this but maybe include the finished Drama club tier as an extra incentive. Like put older Drama club tier reaction 1 month after it you finish the series. It would lower the value of the drama club a bit so that is why I'm 50/50 on this.

I retough about it, the last idea of trickling the Drama Club down it kind of defeats the purpose of the drama club and hard to explain that the advance reaction will have delayed reaction after the Drama club. So forget about it

appreciate you making a new tier, but I will be honest, I am a drama club tier member and I feel like the drama club is not worth the extra 5 dollars. I mean no disrespect, but for me another tier would require more than just early early access

So, I don’t hate the idea. If you wanna do that, go ahead. Just understand that you’d then have to create a schedule for posting to make sure the timing lines up. I’m not saying it’s bad just know what it is you’re really getting yourself into

I agree i feel like I have no problem paying 20 dollars a month if I get more from the drama club, but the drama tier is nearly double the price at the moment with less than half the content as the initial tier. I like her content but I need more to justify paying more

first off all, happy easter, had no idea it was easter. about the new tier, i like it. since it's not for the currently airing shows people on the lower tiers would still be getting what they pay for and those in the new tier will simply be getting some early access to already finished airing shows. people on the lower tiers would eventually get to see what's on the early access tier so i don't see a problem with it. honestly i think it's a good idea and i most likely already have the credits for it so i like it.

i think for it to work the new tier should also get access to the drama club exclusives, unless the new tier is lower priced than the drama club. i think it would work better if you moved the drama club tier up and the new tier takes the middle spot that way the drama club tier gets access to everything below it

I understand. It’s just hard for me to find shoes to put in that tier because no one can agree on one show. Everyone has a different suggestion so I have trouble deciding on which shows to react to. I guess maybe I should just start choosing? Also I’m not married to this idea. If you guys don’t think we need any other tiers then that’s okay. I’m just trying to figure out ways so grow as a creator and give you guys more content. Also I really appreciate the honest feedback! ❤️

yeah, i think the drama club tier should have this perk, so the drama club tier should be above the early access tier, or the early access tier gets the drama club tier perk. it gets a little complicated because of the drama club tier.

If the drama club tier is the highest tier it should have access to everything below it. I think because right now the only old show you have is haikyu, and bleach being on hold idk which shows you could have for that tier

I keep going back and forth and changing my mind here. Here where I'm at now. Maybe 7$ tier is the seasonal show tier, a new 10$ the advance access non-sesasonal tier. With content going down to the lower tier after a delay and YT. Keep the 12$ tier for the I don't want to edit tier. Strait from OBS so it take you less time and you can put more content. Stop worrying about I already have watch the first 4 episodes so I can't put this K-Drama In, It worked great with Attorney Woo staring in the middle. Also maybe add I just want to try Konosuba and or Marshle but I'm not sure I want to commit to it. So 1-2 episodes then either drop or move it down to the lower tier. So the top tier will be the experimental tier where everything goes and you and you have the freedom to put way more stuff in it on a whim. Some showwill stick and some will not. People that think it's not worth it can go to the lower 10$ tier. I believe the problem with the Drama Club is that you see everything you add there as a big commitment so don't kow what to add there. Right now you think if I add it to the Drama Club I cannot put it on YT so no go. I already start the K-Drama so no go etc. So put less restriction on what to add there, Be more free and add more content. I would be fine if we have more content but less rules so it may be on occation not be exclusive after a few episode or start in the middle or binge watch with Minimal/No editing. or drop after only 1-2 episodes So what everybody else think

Ok i think i understand it. So you want to create an early access tier? Personally i think that's a bad move. For a few reasons: 1. You're definitely going to get confused on the upload scheduling and mistakes will happen. 2. People are going to be pissed that they have to wait ON PATREON to watch something you've already posted to other members. This is because their gonna feel like they have to give more money to watch reactions early when they're already long term patrons. 3. I just think it'll stress you out especially once you read the comments. I think creating another tier is cool, but not an early access tier..... Maybe a movie tier. Or a NON anime tier. Also, you missed my birthday on Saturday. 😭😭😭 To make up for it, you gotta post some Clorox reactions.... Like 5 of them.

I've seen many other reactor with multiple tier including early release tier. Think it's reasonable to have a seasonal tier, older show tier and exclusive/Premium tier. The seasonal you have access to seasonal show right away. Older show with a month delay. Middle tier you have access to seasonal and Older show as soon as they are recorded. Premium Tier you get patreon exclusive reaction and other experimental stuff you want to try.

Yeah the drama club tier should and does have access to everything in the reactor tier and I plan on adding some more older shows like madoka magica.

Super late but what about the idea of like a "Retro" tier? For stuff like classics you've not seen before a la FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Pulp Fiction, etc.. Just any stuff that's generally universally renowned as top tier quality content but that isn't on the current seasonal rotation.
