I have a meeting in 8 hours and it’s such a bad idea to watch right now, but screw it, let’s go!

Well I watch the reaction on my phone. And well there isn't much happening in those episode. I guess it's canon filler. Even 45 was more of a setting episode but I guess you have to introduce Ichigo training and summer up where everyone is. 46 I'm with you this background was mosly unnecessary. Maybe the only thing is why those big Hollow all appear. I also woudn't be surpise if there was someting underhanded here. I don't think I'll make a long comment not that much happened. So Take Care 😋

Man you passes me on episodes! Need to get back at it

Christian

Episode 46 is not that unnecessary then you think. It plays a role later on.

Louie23_LA

yeah this is basically filler but manga filler so there's something to get out of it, boring as f*ck if you ask me 😆

Louie23_LA

also, captain aizen is dead, you just have to accept it

I think it's quite interesting, actually. It's really interesting to see something about the soul reaper academy, even if it's just a little.

I think that the purpose of second episode was to give more depth to other characters, their relationships and some small info on various things. Things we get to know are for example: - Hitsugaya Toshiro (Little Genius Captain) and Hinamori Momo (Lieutenant that lost Captain) are not just fellow officers, they know each other since childhood. - Ichimaru Gin (fox-face Captain) was Lieutenant of Aizen (dead Captain) in a flashback, that sheds tiny bit of light on relationship that Aizen and Ichimaru had at that time. - Ichimaru isn't perceived just as a Captain with creepy smile. He was also someone who saved others. It is not so strange for Izuru (blonde guy) to follow him as Lieutenant or maybe even respect and admire him. Therefore (at least for me) it is understandable that Izuru is lost in the whole situation, torn between different things that he should be doing. - For Soul Reapers there are four aspects that they train in. Though we don't know what exactly are those. It is both its strength and a weakness of Bleach that it has so many different characters. It's weakness because it gets easier sidetracked from the main plot, but it's strength because everyone can find at least a character they like and get a bit o their story. I always like your reactions, but for some reason I especially liked behaviour to Renji breaking out of the prison. :) I don't really know why... hmm... .

The coolest filler is one serie - 228 (beach episode (bleach at the beach) . I think many people will agree with me, that 228 is an example how fillers should look like. Really recommend you to watch this one, when the time comes!!

Too much fanservice for my taste. Sadly I watched all Bleach fillers back in the day, and I haven't seen a single one that wasn't at least level lower in quality than the main story. It is especially bad when they try to stick some filler characters into manga based arc.

My Big Little Brother

The good thing about Bleach is that it's awesome with making you care about the characters. BUT, when the filler hits you feel it. In this instance, they took the time where Ichigo is training to tell more about the Soul Reapers. In a way its kind of relevant, as it does help you understand what happens later with most of the characters depicted in those last two episodes. In particular, Renji. But, strictly speaking it's not necessary. Tbh, because of how awesome bleach can be sometimes, I found myself really getting annoyed with filler episodes as well - in anticipation of the main story picking back up. Luckily, those episodes are few and far between during the Ryoka arc and within 1-2 episodes you'll be back to the main story. In fact, I think starting with the next one.
