this is the first episode I've seen since episode 2 so i don't know anything about the show. can they really not go pro after they are disqualified? isn't that a little harsh?

I think they are only banned from team Japan if they loose on Blue Lock. They can still become pro and go to club team. Which is basically what pro player is playing for a club that pay you. So good bye world cup but they can still be Pro.

even so. getting disqualified doesn't mean you can't continue to improve. what if you go pro, become the best player in the world, or at least the country, but you're not allowed to play for your nation's team?

[First scene before the intro Pass it back] Why would he pass it back he is free in front of the goalies shoot. [Isagi in his head at the beginning of the episode] Isagi has such a negative thought in his head. I’m not a genius, I'm never going to be able to compete. 😮‍💨 [In soccer one-on-ones don’t just happen when you have the ball] Finally that is the basic of all sport. Timewise in a game you spend way more time without the ball than with it. Top player know how to position themself without the ball and make play happen. That is why theory are always at the good place when they receive the ball. They hide behind the defense. They edge the offside line. Also it’s important to recuperate the ball altho it’s more of a middle roles but still.

[Isagi tearing down and being reborn] I really hope that is true. I’m annoyed with his inner thoughts up to now. I hope he can have a more growth mindset catching on. Focus on how he can get better and not so much focus on the negatives and how he’s not able to do this or that. Growth mindset. Everything is a learning experience to get better. [Naruyaha backstory] We get a sob story for Naruhaya. It is tragic. But many people do. I don’t feel like we know enough of Naruhaya for the full effect of the backstory but maybe I’m just heartless 😅 🥺They are poor so the good luck charm is just an old box with message written on it. 🥺 Well it some way I think it’s better than a “commercial” good luck charm because they put their heart into it. Well as I said in my other comment they can still play professionally in a club they just can’t represent Japan in international competition.

I'm not saying you have to be an asshole to be an egoist striker but those types of players are not reprimanded so they are free to be assholes. That may be why Baro wasn’t selected from the last game. His behaviour. [Isagi learning from Naruyaha] Ok ok that growth mindset it’s good more of that and less whining in your head Isagi 😅 [Naruhaya losing] I do feel for Naruhaya but this is Blue Lock, He can’t score. That not so good for him 😮‍💨 [Genius of adaptivity] Well that is one of the most important skills. Being able to adapt to the situation and opponent. If this can be true, Isagi has a fair shot at winning Blue Lock. [Isagi trying to cheer up Naruhaya] I know you have good intentions but now I don’t think anything you say is going to help.
