Here we go Blue Lock I don’t think Isagi and Bachira are going to play against each other at this stage. Maybe Bachira will move on much earlier since he doesn’t have to do the 2v2 he’s already on the 4v4. Isagi is overthinking way too much. He’s just putting himself in a bad mindset. I’m glad Nagi is trying to put some sense into him. Yep they lack a passer. By Rewatching I think even if they win and get Barou it’s not going to give them a passer. Barou is a scorer.

Team choice. I think the better strategy is to take a team with a player that will work very well in your team but don’t work together as well. Like if they find a team with two passers who aren't very good at scoring they might win and get the missing piece to their teams. But the other guy is right, tho this is blue lock if you play it safe you are not going to win still you have to select a team with a player that get well with your team, it’s important for the rest of the tournament. I like Nagi personality 😂

One thing that bothers me is they never deal with offside. That major part of soccer. When they crowd Barou the other guy was offside asking for a pass. Barou didn’t pass but you have to deal with offside, You can be arrogant if you are scoring but right now Barou is just being frustrated. Yep it’s obvious that they pick Isagi team because they thought they could beat him but that just mind game to distract Isagi and giving his personality it might work since he is so down on himself sometime. But then Isagi has to overcome it. Growth mindset and not fixed mindset.

When I look back on the series as a whole so far, I feel like it is pretty enjoyable. But the combination of them having used all of the budget in the first half and them seeming to want to drag every episode out with as much standing around and whining as possible, makes watching each episode very frustrating. If I knew where this was going (like you said) I wouldn't be so bothered, but it seems like they want to end every episode on a cliffhanger rather than have good pacing.
