idk why they keep mistranslating the name of the holy kingdom to the theocracy, whenever demiurge or them talk about the theocracy and giving aid it is another country they're talking about called the holy kingdom. the movie will cover between episodes 7 and 8

Don't worry about things not clicking instantly in this show. The anime cuts and condenses the LN so much that everything happens at light speed and can be pretty hard to follow. A bunch of important and semi-important plot points are either just referenced once or twice or not mentioned/shown so far whatsoever. I can't really be mad about it though, there's only so much you can do when trying to adapt a LN with crazy amounts of lore, politics and several plot points going on at once all the time.

They take Ainzs’ words as gospel lol, it makes it hard for him to actually speak about anything lol. Because Philip is from that kingdom, that means that whatever he does against another kingdom it’s a representation of his kingdom. Philip destroyed the carriages with the sorcerer kingdoms flags on them, and took the supplies in the carriage. Im curious what the kings plan is, the prince had the perfect plan in order to avoid escalating the situation. Philip wants his kingdom to fight against the sorcerer kingdom, im thinking that’s what he fight by laying the hammer down lol. He wants to enact a war between the two countries, I don’t know if Philip knows how strong the sorcerer kingdom is. That’s why Albedo was saying that no one is that stupid to do that 😂. That’s my only answer to this situation tbh. First time in weeks that I managed to watching somewhat early 😅

How i view Phillip action is that since phillip "hammer of justice" is him basically robbing Ainz carriages and steal ainz's crop and keep it for himself to sell. Since getting stuff for "free" is a good way to sell stuff for cheap.

Phillip the idiot's "Hammer of Justice" is his fancy words for getting petty revenge. His line of thinking is: 1) The Sorcerer Kingdom is exporting cheap crops that are driving down the value of the crops grown on Phillip's land. 2) This is costing Phillip money and is like a personal attack against him by the Sorcerer Kingdom. 3) The Sorcerer Kingdom hurt Phillip so he will hurt them back by robbing their carriage. One of the words we associate with justice is "punishment". Usually if someone hurts you and you hurt them back it's called revenge. However sometimes people like to say they are "punishing" the other person for hurting them. Of course if you are dealing out a punishment then that's "justice" isn't it?

These last few episodes of season 4 are going to be a bit hard to follow for a couple of reasons. Season 1 of Overlord adapted novels 1-3 Season 2 adapted novels 4-6 Season 3 adapted novels 7-9 Season 4 is adapting novels 10, 11 and 14 skipping novels 12 & 13. That is because novels 12 & 13 are being made into a movie. This latest episode of Overlord is the start of novel 14. So some of the dialogue is referring to things that we haven't seen yet and won't until the movie comes out.

The other reason these last few episodes or at least this most recent one is hard to follow is because of a subtitle mistake. These are the main countries that we've seen a fair bit of in the series: The Sorcerer Kingdom of Ainz Ooal Gown The Re-Estize Kingdom The Empire of Baharuth The Slane Theocracy Season 4 has also introduced us to the Dwarf Kingdom. Other Kingdoms and countries have been mentioned but we haven't seen much of them so far. The mistake in the subtitles for this episode was pretty bad. It kept referring to the Slane Theocracy being sent food support by the Sorcerer Kingdom. That wasn't the country the food support was being sent to. The actual name of the country the food was being sent to is "The Holy Kingdom". A completely separate country to the Slane Theocracy. Although they are both countries governed by religion. The reason the Holy Kingdom needs food support has to do with events that will be depicted in the upcoming Overlord movie.

Someone on reddit posted a link to a map of the world of Overlord. Or at least of the main continent that the story has been set on so far. It's got the names and locations of some countries that haven't been shown yet in the series (although some had been mentioned) but nothing I feel is very spoilery. I'm speaking as someone who unti recently had only watched the series and don't feel spoiled by the map. I've just started reading the light novels (I'm up to novel 6 which covers the last part of season 2).
