I loved seeing how hype you got when the OP started playing because I'm the exact same lmfao. Overlord has made amazing OPs back to back to back it's crazy

The anime did not show it well but Jercniv loudly cheering for Warior King was him losing it after he thought Ainz caught him red-handed plotting against him with the theocracy representatives. After Ainz won and Jircniv realized what he has done, he quickly offered becoming a vassal in panic. :D As for the yearly wars, no-one clearly won them. The empire probably could win, but they would lose a lot of their army and considering Jercniv rules as a Tyrant, the whole empire could collapse without the army maintaining order. Instead, they just bring their army there every year, and because their army is better trained, the kingdom has to bring a much larger army, which is more expensive to feed, equip etc. Also, because the Kingdoms army is drafted from farmers, the empire always declares war during harvest, so the farmers can't work the fields. Both having to feed the army and having smaller harvests significantly damages the Kingdom economically, so the Empire is "winning" without fighting every year.

As for the 1000 league astrologer, she is expert in information gathering magic, such as seeing remote places. But she does not do prophecies or any other predictions of future. Se is just a magical spy/recon. It was probably her spying in season 1 when Ainz killed Nigund and destroyed the sunlight scripture. As for the prophecy, I don't want to explain it too much since it is pretty much a spoiler. The Warrior King is stronger than Gazef. I don't think it is a spoiler, it pretty much does not matter at this point. By the way, the Stilettos (knife thingies Ainz used) are taken from Clementine (sadist that killed the adventurers back in season 1). That's why Ainz says he borrowed them from Momon, since he killed Clementine as Momon.

I could not stop laughing every time Jircniv would yell somethinf

Dwarven runes look pretty much the same in any work of fiction. They are heavily based on real life norse and germanic runes. Some universes come up with their own alphabet (for example Warhammer Fantasy), but even then you can barely tell the difference from actual runes. So yeah, dwarven runes are kind of a "know 'em when you see 'em" sort-of thing.

ainz always cracks me up. half the time he doesn't understand what people are talking about. like with the vassal state. he just goes along with it then has them explain exactly what they mean just so others can understand what they are talking about🤣 ainz showed the warrior king true power. walking  through his attacks like they were nothing. not 100% on this but i do believe the warrior king is more powerful than gazef. ainz is powerful but dragon ball super did it better. beerus flicking super saiyan 3 goku away like he was nothing🤣🤣 beerus destroying half of a planet with a light tap of his finger. now that is true power. overall this was a good episode and a great reaction on your part👍 i always enjoy a good fight. even though it was one sided. warrior king still put up a fight. just an fyi. a vassal state is not really a thing anymore in the modern world. something close to it would be like Japan being a vassal nation to the United states but not entirely like it used to be in the past. but basically it is. just a modern version of it. they are an independent nation that will provide military support when needed and the United states will provide protection. I'm a dummy and i could be wrong so i hope im right. and i hope this makes sense😅

I might be so wrong here because frankly I don’t get Ainz but I think what he wants is to create a kingdom that his friend would be proud of. So utopia is the goal but it’s not because he is good it’s because he want something he can show, look at what I’ve done.

Dany DLTV

Episode Starting He let his guardian decide a lot of his future kingdom. I guess he went with world domination since it’s the safest way and he still doesn’t know enough about this world so he wants to keep thing safe for himself. I’m pleasantly surprised at Ainz in this episode. It was all his idea. More often than not his guardian ideas are predominant in this show and we know what they think of humans.

Dany DLTV

Yea he need people that aren’t Yes Man like his guardians especially if he doesn’t get half of what they are doing most of the time. I think getting a lot of new adventurers doing exploration is the best idea he had. He still needs to learn more about his world and human adventure is the best strategy. They don’t go everywhere with dominating and conquering in mind. So he can get a lot of info on the world.

Dany DLTV

Well Ainz has other things to do in the empire. So that is why he just doesn’t go directly to the coliseum and send the guild master back. Also he needs more human allies that will give him insight on this world. Better doing things properly. 😂That's the Ainz I know. He didn’t know anything about the book so he just took it since the cover looked impressive. He gave Fluder the eyeglass to give him a taste of the book. I guess taking it back and making him translate the book is good advice but it does stretch out the reward and make him decipher the book for a longer time. Not everything is instantaneous. So he keeps him busy. Learning slowly the knowledge. And I guess he could keep tap on what Fluder learns at a slower pace. Since he doesn’t really know what is in the book.

Dany DLTV

The ruin is interesting. That is why he needs the adventurer to get items like this and get more knowledge on this word. We are getting somewhere. I’m curious about the ruin. So far in the past season we were not getting anywhere closer to Ainz goal of finding other players. He was just OP that all. I don’t get the no magic. He did use some form of magic in his fight. I guess he didn’t use full on magic spell but still.

Dany DLTV

The warrior king is right, they are all individuals. You don’t prejudge them because of their race. Reviving guarding. I also think it’s the difference in their power level. I guess it take a lot of power to restore a guardian to their full might. The emperor is a bit of digging his grave if it was anybody other than Ainz shouting so much for the adversary.

Dany DLTV

When Ainz showed him(Warrior king) his “true strength” He released a limitation he imposed on himself. But then again it’s Ainz's strength as a fighter. And we know that he is a much more powerful sorcerer than a fighter. But it’s enough to completely OP the Warrior King. Ainz did give a good recruitment speech.

Dany DLTV

Ainz has a way to seem in control of everything even when he is overwhelmed. Like the Vassal thing. From his inner thought he didn’t know what to do with the Vassal. So yes important alliances should be done in writing but then it gives him the time to think it over and see all the consequences. And he seems in control. And it’s smart there are many kinds of vassal so get everything in writing so he knows what he’s getting into.

Dany DLTV

The Vassal thing just means that his empire will be under Ainz. So Ainz will have authority to control the empire. They usually do it to get protection. So they become a nation under the control of Ainz but they expect protection. Since Ainz would want to protect nations in which he has control.

Dany DLTV

I don’t think it really matters the strength level of the warrior king because what we have been shown is that nobody stands even a slight chance in this world. Ainz just wants to show that he is the strongest to recruit people. And tell them if they come they are going to be protected. I guess The emperor can help him out politically since he knows more about the world than Ainz and how politics work here. But it’s just make a more powerful kingdom for Ainz. The emperor helped him rule the nation. Yes, that is a good idea. Alberto and Demuige are Guardians and think very little of humans so.

Dany DLTV

The Dwarven with ruine is probably the most important clue in this episode. Ok good reaction. Ainz came up with a good plan here. And I feel we have progress in the story Good. See you next time. Take Care. 😋

Work has been keeping me busy all week lol, so hard to watch everything. At least Ainz let the warrior king get a few hits in lol, Gazef was still human while the warrior king isnt. Ainz did it to advertise to adventures, having him beat the strongest warrior would be good advertising lol. If the adventures are too scared they might not be willing to join Ainz, like would you wanna be under someone that strong? While some may join maybe initial might be hard to convince some, what el nix could do would be helping Ainz with trade? Since currently other countries aren’t doing business with the sorcerer kingdom, or using him to recruit other nations into the sorcerer kingdom.

Rudeus Greyrat

the light novel explained what did in his ainz did in his past life in the first volume and it also already explained by this point in the story why jircniv is so important to ainz.

Short explanation of a Vassal state: A vassal states gives up its independence and becomes subserviant to another state. Imagine it like a master - servant relationship. Longer addition: In the past the "servant" only agreed to it in the most dire situations, like loosing a war and needing somebody to protect them. The "master" wants this relationship (instead of overtaking them), cause they can increase their military power and recieve money from them without the need to conquer them. Also they don't need to govern the country and its people directly, which makes it way easier to expand. A declaration of war to one of them has always been considered a delcaration of war to both. A vassal state could also not easily get free again, any attempt usually resulted in a "loosing war", because they are usually subserviant to stronger nations and regular tributes will prevent them from getting powerful enough to be able to fight back.
