In a different translation, the schoolgirl said "get back in your closet" to the other girl's homosexual preference to Milly. Your version of subtitle seems to be more strict on translating word for word. Britannia goes by extreme Darwinism. Winner takes all, loser gets nothing. No equal basic human rights. It's also similar to colonial Britain, going around absorbing other countries, placing the indigenous population in the lowest social class. It looks down on the democratic EU's equal rights because it's a "popularity contest", and the Chinese Federation for being communist, creating a country of lazy people.

on point on the darwinism-stuff...social darwinists (e.g. nazi-germany) often like to argue based on twised utilitarianism that, by keeping "weaker" people (mentally/ physically ill, less intelligent, talented) alive they let them spread their "weak" genes, crippling the race as a whole...it's basically taking morality out of the equation completely & provides a comfortable justification for the powerful upper-class to maintain their power because by that logic, if the "strong" took everything and can manage to keep it, it's because they are "superior" and thus deserve to have it.

Love your reaction to the funeral; this is the kind of reaction I looked for. I do sympathize with his talk of equality, because it's kinda true at least from a biological standpoint. We are all different after all. At least he isn't a communist lul. Not when it comes to the law, though. You highlighted that part after the episodes I just noticed. Also, let the fact sink in that this is supposed to be Clovis's funeral yet he only mentioned his own son when declaring that his death is proof that Britannia evolves. The Emperor knows that Lelouch is alive btw and iirc he is the only one of the royal family who knows that I need to say that from all Patrons I'm pledging to, you are the most dedicated to reacting and that shows in your results, so good job! in nature, where survival is mainly a matter of genetics-based adaption to your environment and/or competitors, yes. But social Darwinism going by the same logic ignores that in human society, sucess is determined by far more than physical traits that originate from genetics alone, like charisma, intelligence, cultural origin, training & education, etc. that have no scientifically proven, direct correlation to genetics (assuming a healthy individual without impairments)...if you take those factors into account, social darwinism falls apart.
