You said that you dont know whats going on and that someone should tell you... but that would include many many spoilers. Backstory on Meliodas will come in the next very few Episodes and in Season 2, i could say a bit more but i dont' want to spoil to much. The stuff with the Shooting Stars etc. is a prophecy which like many or all know. They mentioned it after they escaped the Prison when there were Shooting Star at the night.

I love your reactions, keep it up! Some corrections without spoiler: Helbram said Meliodas has that demon power from the beginning. Which means he born with it so at least he is half demon so that black demonic power it's his own. Tho as you saw, he can't really control it that's why it's looks like that power control him instead. Meliodas was talking about the war 3000 years ago between the Demon clan and the Goddess clan joined together with the Humans/Fairies/Giants. That Omen is about something bad gonna happen with Britannia and could be connected to that war. Probably you missed it when Helbram said but the hilt is the important as it's 1 of key needed to revive the Demon clan and that coffin of the eternal darkness is the seal. Princess Margaret is the last one and you will know more about her connection to Gillthunder and her story later on. The 2 Great Holy Knight are Hendrickson and Dreyfus. I think that's all what you need to know atm. I think, I only mentioned things happened in this episode so there should be no spoiler. Lastly, you asked to let you know when Meliodas backstory will happen. Unfortunately you have to wait as they only start hint things in the 2nd season.

Yeah like NinoDonDino mentioned, you need to be patient. They will explain about Meliodas and some other Stuff, but most of it will first happen in Season 2. But i can say, what Helbram ( the Knight with the strange Green Sword) was implying is that Meliodas is different from the Knights who drunk the Blood of a Demon, he was implying that Meliodas maybe was Born with that Kind of " Demonic" Power.

We want to answer your questions so bad, but almost everything we could say would go straight into spoiler territory 😆 One other theory Helbram proposed was that in his "Demon Form" his intelligence/self control decreases a lot as well, so he wouldn't think of using Full Counter and go on a mindless rampage. I really like Seven Deadly Sins, but generally prefer smart characters over straight-up powerful ones because in the long run the power creep becomes a bit absurd sometimes and starts hurting the narrative for me 😅 On a sidenote: The Great Holy Knight Dreyfus (the one who locked himself up in his room at the end of the episode, when they reported Griamore & the princess had been killed) is Griamore's father)

elizabeth is a princes, veronica is also a princes witch means that her and elizabeth are sisters and at the end you see gilthunder talk to whe woman in the cell refering to her as princess margaret, witch also means that she is elizabeth sister, but her voice also sounds older, therefor i can see why you would think that she is her mom but not the case, i think this is something you are going to have to remember since it's going to be important (very important ) , but this is all you will get out of me kuz no spoilers ;)
