Rip Comment, I guess I'll retype it. People typically watch this one after another so it's not like you're dumb for not linking together two things from different episodes considering you watch these several days apart. Solution is a Pleiades battle maid like Narberal. She is a slime and lower leveled than Nabe. Sebas is their leader. This isn't one of those shows where they explicitly explain plot details in dialogue. So don't worry if it gets confusing. They don't do a good job of making things clear. "SHUT THE FUCK UP, WHAT?!" lol tell em. Shalltear's mission was to find people who could use martial arts and bring them to Ainz. Also, she's not supposed to be discovered so there can be no witnesses. Albedo assumes that she has betrayed them because her name on the roster has turned red, which indicates an enemy. Shalltear is my favorite but I can understand why you don't like her, lol. I would guess that by the end of this Sebas will be your favorite. Like Ainz said, they were all created to be the way that they are, so it's not her fault that she's like that. Also when they became real they inherited certain personality traits that their creators had in order to fill in the gaps left behind in their settings. I always get so hyped when I see an Overlord Upload.

That creepy fucking blonde lady is Solution Epsilon. one of the battle maids. She is cruel!

Jesse answered most of the questions accurately! Let’s also not forget that overlord is an anime from a villains perspective, so the bad guys are the main chars. Ains and his squad are supposed to be “overlord conquerors” that rule the land as dictators ; but since ains was previously from a human world, he doesn’t like to kill innocent humans himself. Shalltear was created as a vampire so she doesn’t really have human emotions and she needs to feast on human blood as all vampires do in order to regain her strength. I agree with you though that I hate seeing innocent people die when shalltear went on that rampage outside the cave, but oh well lol.

in case no one knows, solution is a 'slime' monster that just looks human. none of the maids are human lol. Brain's started crying because he had spent his recent years perfecting those two techniques he used against Shalltear in order to beat Gazef. Shalltear blocks it with a fingernail, Brain realizes their enormous difference in power and starts questioning what he had been doing with his life up until that moment. blood frenzy its a vampire class skill, that's what shalltear used.

The whole point of the Mission was to find strong People with Martial Arts, because in Yggdrasil they didn't had Martial Arts, so they want to gather informations.

First: You're not stupid for not having everything that was ever in the show inyour head, you saying it over and over doesn't make it more true :P It's mentioned later, but the whole concept of Nazarick - when they were still playing an MMO - was to form an opposite of the classical goody two-shoes hero-guilds with purely good, humanoid characters; not a single member of them, neither players nor NPCs, was human; the darkelf-twins maybe the closest thing, at least in their natural appearance. Concerning the mission: The main goal was to gather information on martial arts and new skills in general, stuff that didn't exist in Yggdrasil. E.g. Ainz' fight vs Clementine; here he let her show all she got before killing her because the martial-arts-skills she, Gazef and Brain mastered didn't exist in the game at all, so he doesn't know shit about it.

A little detail that was in the LN but not in the episode was what shalltear was thinking after she said: "That one is... strong?" @ 20:17 "Shalltear was surprised and had no levels in dedicated warrior classes, so her assessment of her opposition’s strength told her that he was not only stronger than the Vampire Brides she had brought along, but stronger still than Solution, the Pleiades battle maid."

Dang stronger than solution? But she seemed really strong. She was also very creepy! So that means the people who are controlling her are extremely strong if they are stronger than Shalltear. 😱

She killed them because they gave her the excuse to by attempting to do nefarious things with solution. The mercenaries in the caves were the same as the mercenaries that tried to raid their carriage. Or, at least I hope so since they wore the same getup and the flow of the story would be crazy if not. She justified the excuse by looking for strong ones to give to Ainz. They are all monsters and crazy.
