TL;DR--> I think he's thinking "Sex is good. What about love, tho? Is this just gonna end up in the same place as with the other guy? Is this real? Can it last? Do I *want* it to last?" Possibly also "This was nice, but would he pretend he didn't know me in public, too? If I tried to hold his hand, would he pull away?"

I suspect he's going to check his phone and at least have an opinion about the previous guy wanting his attention, again. He hasn't closed that loop, yet, and there's only so many ways to avoid interacting with him even if he doesn't text him back. Small world, and such. People tend to accept the kind(s) of love they recognize, but often people keep choosing the same kind of person because they're hoping to get it right. Did things start off like this with the other guy (who also seems like he was new to being with another guy, and also seems to be a kind of diesel dude, which suggests T's got a Type)? Did he think they had a connection, at first, too? Also also, is he going to bring up how Joe saw him and the bear guy in the shower, that first time, then freaked out and ran away? Is he afraid he'll freak out and run, again? *Would he do that*, if pressured? This man is trying to enjoy himself, but I think he could be forgiven for not feeling safe with either guy. If nothing else, relaxing into things might require all parties to deal with these things, otherwise the connection or potential for connection could fade. Also, maybe the bear guy isn't irredeemable as much as he needs to figure out what he wants, how to talk to and connect with people, and how to treat his lovers better. T saw *something* in him, after all, otherwise he wouldn't be disappointed in how things went. Deep thoughts do tend to find their way into moments like this. I love that you can see it in the art, even without words. I wonder what the influences for these panels are, honestly. I bet this resonates with another work the artist found meaningful, especially the first two panels.
