Content Plans for February-March (Patreon)

Orginally I had planned to do a video on fandom's fixation on torture porn, but the last video got really heavy toward the end and kinda emotionally fucked with some people. And given this video is also going to be heavy as I talk about the way fandom sadistically likes to torture girls, I need a bit of a buffer. So here's the plan so far.

Next Video - First Impressions: Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur

I promised myself I was going to do this one months ago, because the show looked like it was going to be a LOT of fun. Kinda gives me a throwback to Teamo Supremo. This was something I was determined to do for me, because I want to watch something fun and tell everyone else about it.

Glass of Water - Torture Porn

As you're aware, the titles on Patreon never match the titles on Youtube. These are always the production titles I give you. Here we're talking about fandom's habit of viewing trauma itself as character development because they get a visceral thrill out of watching characters (usually women) suffer. Key examples are going to be The Legend of Korra and The Owl House, along with an example of readers of The Sith Resurgence being upset when I decidedly scrapped a story arc for feeling too much like torture porn. There will also be examples from other places, such as Amphibia, the obligatory Steven Universe example, and a few others that probably only make sense to me.

Those are the next videos. There are also plans for a video on Cozy Cartoons, a trend that existed in the 90's and is experiencing a resurgence with Bluey, but that's up to Patron Vote.
