QUICK UPDATE: A new version, v1.11, was released on my itch.io page with the latest codebase and removing the "Downloads" menu. It includes the "hi-score" update, so you can start doing your best scores!

First update for GiantessRun v1.2 development!

  • Game code is updated to Godot Engine 3.5.1 from 3.3.2 (sadly the old saves won't be compatible, I'm really sorry for that 😢)
  • Hi-score is now implemented! It saves the highest values of collected coins and "survived time". It was also tested with the old Amy Rose DLC .GTS file without any extra update, so... we cool =3 
  • Coin prices are lower for levels, starting at 1000 points (3rd character) up to 6500 points (10th character). These prices can change tho.
  • Gold collectable is implemented! It rewards 50 coins, avaliable after the 4th level.
  • Fire now have a sixth unlockable artwork, and her artworks were redone (her rewards will be avaliable later as a .ZIP folder for my Special Offer patrons).
  • All levels (10 in total) are set and playable (basically CTRL+C/CTRL+V with changes), and the works on that can start.

I plan to launch a beta version of the game this next week (up to Wednesday) for my Special Offer patrons, where you can test the changes (including the hi-score one), with the 6th level, Pamela, fully playable (including her unlockable artworks).
