Annoucement for sticker and Risen's future plans (Patreon)

It’s been a while since I talked to you. When The Full Moon 2 ended, I said I really need to take a break and reflect, but I will probably make another post saying what's my next plan. So here we go. I will talk about my problem with The Full Moon 2 and my next plan and how to get the sticker, it’s gonna be a bit long so you can just skip to the part you are interested in.

What happened to me and The Full Moon 2?

Long story short, The Full Moon depleted my passion for art for a while. It was my biggest project to date, and I was proud to pull through this daring feat. But at the same time, the creative process slowly killed my will to pick up my pen again. Producing one full-colored page every week was not an easy task, and this comic took more than a year to complete. I was under a lot of pressure -- mainly because I had to continuously produce new pages, otherwise if there were no Patreon content, I would miss out on Patreons to support me. It didn't help that I drew 4 to 5 pages ahead of the schedule, I was on task, but at the same time I felt worried. I can't help it sometimes, it's my personality.

When the comic progressed to the part where Neil met Lester, the comments I received from those pages were somewhat negative. In part, I started questioning my story telling and decisions I made. I knew that developing these characters to the fullest was important for Neil, and at later pages I made sure to close up on any doubts by revealing Neil's past. It was difficult for me to continue because usually people are more willing to post negative thoughts than positive ones. During this journey I had to learn to overcome the negative thoughts stemming from the comments. It definitely was not a fun experience. For a few months, I felt I failed to meet many expectations. There was a point where I wanted to quit the comic for good. I'm glad I didn't though, and it was all worthwhile in the end.

What’s my next plan?

So here’s the fun part, no worries about me not making comics anymore. I still like to create stories, to be honest, I actually learned a lot after each project and I can’t wait to apply them in the new story. But for now, I want to make something simpler, fun, and original.

There’s a furry fantasy world I’ve been working on for years. It’s for my future furry game idea but why not also make comics as teaser? There’s nothing wrong for you to meet these cute characters and I am sure you have met them before.  The next comic will be about a tavern in the mountain called “White Stone Inn,” and the story will focus on the cook and the janitor, Marcus the raccoon and Andrew the otter, and their daily life! I’m aiming to build the comic into a series and eventually make a game with it. Right now, the storyline for the comic is complete and I am going to work on the storyboard this month. Hope you’d be as excited as I am!

Are there going to be more PM doujin comics or even The Full Moon 3?

I have no plan for The Full Moon 3 at the moment. The main reason is I don’t have a good idea for the story. I do have something brewing for Neil’s future though. It won’t relate to Ness and Lester so it’s hard to call it a proper sequel story. As for PM the answer is yes, I will do more doujin comics. I want to focus on my original world setting first but I also have a lot of stuff to tell about my PM world, maybe even TyphieBui?

Okay, How do I get the sticker?

I published it as a patreon merch item for both Comic Tier and Full Reward Tier. You earn merch when you meet two requirements:

1. Join a tier that contains a merch item
2. Met required consecutive payments in that tier. The number of payments depends on the type of merch program you offer the item in 3 months

The 3-month rule is counting from the date I launch the merch item. According to Patreon, the total time it takes a patron to complete the required number of payments can vary based on whether the patron is new or existing and whether the patron has any declined payments that later settle.
